  • Description
We are excited to share that IBM Cloud Certificate Manager is now generally available (GA) in the US South and United Kingdom public regions.

If you have been using the Certificate Manager Beta release, we have good news. You can continue to use your existing instances "as is." You are not required to complete any migration changes and you can continue to use the Certificate Manager service for free. For new users, you can create a new instance and also use it for free.

Certificate Manager is a service that can help developers and security administrators manage SSL/TLS certificates for your cloud applications and services. Upload your SSL/TLS certificates and associated private keys to the Certificate Manager service and store them securely. Configure a Slack channel or provide a callback URL to get notifications from Certificate Manager before your certificates expire so that you remember to renew and do not experience outages. Use Certificate Manager APIs or the Certificate Manager integration with the IBM Kubernetes Service to deploy certificates for your applications.
